Powerful message by Pastor Tai Adeshugba Faith: Your Greatest Asset (Part 4)
“What do you Say in the Midst of a Storm?”
Over the past few Sundays we have gained an insight into the meaning of faith and what it means to actually have faith. Today Pastor Tai reminds us that faith is not only by seeing, or hearing but it also dwells in the words that we speak.
The Word of God is powerful and has been given to us to apply to our lives daily. We learn today that God’s word is sharper than a two edged sword, all powerful as God releases his word to us so that we can then release His word to the world. By keeping your mouth closed and not confronting your battles, the Word of God remains dormant.
There is power in your tongue. Firstly, your words provoke the Word. Your words enable you to both insight and endure a fight. Before you move anything you must apply force; the Word of God is your force to move and conquer any stronghold.
Secondly your word produces your harvest. Learn to speak positively, speak about where you are going and not about where you currently are. Remember the abundance of the heart, speaks the mouth.
Lastly, your word will procure power. Have confidence in yourself and in the Lord. It is never wrong for your to boast in the Lord, for all good things come by His might and not your own.
Listen to today’s message for yourself and see how a small change in your words can change your life for the better.
