Christmas: Creed or Greed (Part 1)

Christmas: Creed or Greed (Part 1)

Powerful message by Pastor Tai Adeshugba: Christmas: Creed or Greed (Part 1)

Who would have thought that celebrating Christmas would become politicised and polarising, especially during a pandemic? Well, that’s the reality of the world we’re living in today! Politicians, economists and everyone else is fighting to ensure that ‘Christmas’ goes ahead this year.

On the face of it, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing is it? Maybe not. But if the focus is more on the commercialised Christmas, the Christmas that focuses on spending, buying and getting, the Christmas that’s centred on greed and everything other than Jesus, then yes, it is a bad thing.

As we draw closer to celebrating Christmas, we begin a new series titled ‘Christmas: Creed or Greed’. Today, Pastor Tai starts to teach on the 4 Creeds of Christmas, beginning with the light of Christmas, Christ. He is the light of Christmas and the light He brings, dispels every darkness.
