Man In Motion

Powerful message by Pastor Tai Adeshugba Man In Motion

On this Father’s Day Pastor Tai speaks about the importance of shaping the man for fatherhood.

Over the years the true worth of men has been subject to neglect; society does not instil the importance of fatherhood into men, instead fixating on making money, teaching them to suppress their emotions or shield their weaknesses. Men do not have a solid basis for manhood and are allowing the culture of today to determines God’s purpose for their lives.

Pastor Tai reminds us that our identity comes from our purpose and not from the roles the world assigns to men or women.

In the time of Creation, only the man came from the Earth, because men were designed by God to be foundation of the family. The woman came out of the man because she was designed to rest in the man. Many men are forgetting that they need to live as the strong foundation that God has created them to be.

Whilst emphasising that wealth is not the legacy we need to pass down to our children, Pastor Tai provides us with the three currencies that we should use to empower our men and each other: the currencies of God, love and time.

Remember: It is a God that gives us wings, but it is a father that teaches us how to fly.

No matter what Father’s Day means to you, God is a father to those with fathers and the fatherless. He is there for you, He will take care of you.
