The Peril of Compromise (Part 2)

Powerful message by Pastor Tai Adeshugba: The Straddle Hazard: The Peril of Compromise – Part 2

This Sunday Pastor Tai leaves us with an encouraging message to conclude the powerful ‘Straddle Hazard’ series.

Sometimes are you tempted to do something you know is wrong, but manage to justify it? Do you take that extra slice of cake when you know you are working towards a fitness goal? Buy those new trainers when you know you are budgeting for your new home?
If the answer is yes, then in all these circumstances, you are compromising.

Compromise is the greatest threat to any believer. What may seem as a tiny, irrelevant compromise in the beginning, eventually leads to a bigger sin, Satan sneaking into your life without you even realising.
Your success in life will not come by taking the easy route, or succumbing to how you feel on a certain day, success comes by discipline and devotion to God.

Psalm 37:7 teaches us to ‘Be still in the presence of the Lord and wait patiently for him to act’. Whilst you wait, use that time to build up your character, spend time learning how to grow despite your weaknesses and draw nearer to God.
