The Word In Action

The Word In Action

Powerful message by Pastor Femi Adeshugba The Word In Action

A study once found that the average Christian only read the bible a grand total of 24 hours in one year. That’s 1 day in 365. That’s 1,440 minutes out of 525,600. 24 hours in a whole year! Isn’t that crazy?! The bible is the biggest, most effective and powerful weapon we have been given. Yet many of us don’t know how to use it or better yet, judging by those statistics, many of us hardly even pick it up to read.

If you were sick and you had been given the exact medication you needed to combat the sickness but you did not take the medication properly, or barely took it at all, do you expect to get better? Is the sickness incurable or is the medication failing? If a soldier went into battle knowing it has already been won, but that the opposition is still waging war, does that mean no weaponry is required? Should he walk into battle unarmed and unprepared?

The word of God is GOD Himself and He honours it above His name. It is *that* important. His word is living, breathing, effective and relevant. The word of our God is our greatest weapon against the evil one. The fight we fight is not an ordinary one but thankfully, we have an extraordinary God who’s word pierces and cuts between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow.

Join Pastor Femi as she encouragingly and profoundly reminds us of the power and potency of knowing and applying the word in our every day lives.
