Transform to Conform (Part3)

Powerful message by Pastor Tai Adeshugba: Transform to Conform (Part 3)

This week Pastor Tai concludes his sermon on Change – Transformed to Conform.

Over the Past 2 sessions, we learn that change is a constant in Life and as Christians, to experience true change requires 3 things – Repentance, Release – and for this week – Resilience; which is defined as the ability to cope with change.

As defined in Ecology, resilience is the capacity for an ecosystem to respond to a perturbation/ adverse disturbance by resisting DAMAGE (not change!) in nature, ie resisting the damage done. The ability to bounce back and return to its original form after being perplexed – is known as its resilience. He teaches that this flexibility to change, is most likened to a Stretching. Stretching indicates a conformation to change without attaining a breaking point.

Change requires a resilience obtained by being flexible and having a flexible mindset, as evidenced in 1 Corinthians 9:22.
