Works of the Invisible God (Part2)
Powerful message by Pastor Tai Adeshugba The Man of Clay
Have you ever wondered why you go through certain situations? Have you thought to yourself how will I bounce back? Will I be okay in the end?
The book of Jeremiah helps us to understand that through these situations we are being moulded towards perfection. In the scripture God likens us to clay and Himself to the potter. But why clay, why something so simple?
Clay has the ability to take its form after it has gone through strenuous beating, kneading and pressure. After it becomes cracked or broken, it can be put back together. Likening us to clay, God is letting us know that we are a work in progress, He is ready to fix us. The cracks in the clay pot represent the various issues that we face in life.
A lot of times we deal with God as if we are glass, we consider ourselves smashed, broken, unable to get back to how we were before our problems started.
But you are clay for a reason, so God can remould you and put you back together.
Your journey in the potter’s house will not be the same as your neighbour’s; your journey in life will not be the same as your friends’. God is always at work. Don’t see your problem as a hindrance; just remember you are being taken back to the potter’s house so you can be restored in order to shine brighter than before.
